Although the kit includes two different press-jigs for forming the spokes to fit within the plastic wheel rims, I have noticed after several attempts that the completed spokes do not fit the rims (still too small of diameter).

Since flattening the formed spokes will increase the diameter, I also know that will reduce the amount of angle of the spokes perpendicular to the axle. Since the "axle" pieces depend on the spokes being a particular angle to properly fit, I was wondering if anyone has encountered similar issues, and what fix if any was developed to address this?

I fit mine to the outermost edge of the centre tire part rim, it was quite snug so I'm not sure why yours are too small unless you're trying to fit them to the outer part rims. Here's how I did mine:

Kimmo,

Great work, and the idea I'm taking away from your post will be to work with the inner tire piece plus spokes, getting all situated before adding the outer tire tread pieces.

Luckily, Miniart responded to a request from me asking for a replacement PE item. They ended up sending me the entire motorcycle sprue plus the new PE fret. The only thing missing from a full kit was decals, directions and the rider. Outstanding service, considering the retail cost of a replacement kit.

Thanks Jim, and yup you got the idea right. MiniArt are very good with customer relations, they'll bend over backwards to keep people happy.
