They are two completely different animals. Unfortunately the LPH50 needs more volume of air than your CO2 can deliver.
For a better explanation of the differences, you should give my video a view ...

So the RG3 with the .6 mm nozzel would be the best choice for base coats due to air flow volume? Would the HP BE2 be a better option with a 20 lbs CO2 Cylinder. I really would like to get the nice gloss look on my cars without a lot of wetsanding between every coat. It is a real challange to sand in some areas with out removing to much paint.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The HP-BE2 has been OOP for quite awhile, but the RG-3 is basically the same. I use the .1mm tip and cap in the RG-3, but you might find that a bit much if you are not used to guns. The .06 mm will handle just like an airbrush (which is what the RG-3 is) But I would strongly suggest that you not get the fan cap. The .06 comes in a round pattern or fan cap. It was never designed for a fan cap and as such, the fan cap performance is similar to any cobbled, add-on fan cap. If you want a mini-gun with a proper fan (read: adjustable fan) that you can use with your CO2, I would suggest the Iwata Eclipse G5. Bought here in the US, they are pricy to say the least, but I would buy direct from Japan.
Hope this helps, Paul
