I have the first issuing of this kit. It looks like they added to 2 new parts to PE2 aside from the changes you already mentioned.

I still have the original Tristar release in my stash. I've been a little iffy about building it due to a few builders stating it's completely "unbuildable", or "trashing it",probably due to its multi-piece hull tub, and bevelled edges instead of the usual butt-joints. Looks like extra care will just be needed to square up all sides.

Tim, yes, well spotted... So the instructions have been revised for that too. They're alternatives to Wf15 and 16, part of the drive covers, I think.
Biggles, that's sounding like a bit of a gauntlet being thrown down... Maybe there needs to be a building duel, or perhaps a Sturmpanzer campaign.
Tim, did you build yours yet?

have no intention of starting another project as I already have way too much on the table - hardly any work room left. But I do have experience with other Tristar kits, which were just as good as Dragon (10 - 14 yrs ago). Once you get used to Tristar's different building method, and having to clean up edges really well, you end up with a very nice model.
