Hi John ,

i didn't see you here for a while . You have a Nice project by the way.

I have to echo the others about the groundwork , it looks good and the tree makes it even more realistic.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks Kurt, you guys as well, just been busy and have missed catching up on all the great threads.
Here is a little update, put some of the shrubbery in (still have to add all the other field weed varieties as well as other vegetation. My decision to tape the whole build puts a hamper on progress.

Couple updated tree pics, think I may shave the field down just a little more before adding the other field stuff.

Thanks guys, decisions, decisions for the next round of vegetation. Though I know I'll be throwing in a little cluster of the red twig shrubs. For fun I threw in a pic of the video taping corner.

Hey Connor good to hear from you, yes this has a fun aspect to it because its outside of my usual and I don't do many "green scenes" but I do enjoy them.
Here is an update as I start to "liven" up the field a little with additional vegetation.

Wow, this looks great!

What did you use for shrubbery? I recognize all the other stuff just not the shrubs.

Ha,Ha! that's a good one Conor./ Thanks Mike
Monte, the shrubs are "Scenic Shrubs in various colors, in particular a newer X-Large version intermixed with smaller.
The X-Large are 3+ inches ea. When I get the field done I will take some better pics, I'm also taping the whole build and it describes how I did everything.

I am gobsmacked dude! You keep improving on your reputation as the best scenery guy on the site!
Holy cow that is nice. Every think about taking it outside and taking a pic blended in with natural background? I'll bet no one could tell if it was real or not?

Thanks Jerry! (and Kurt) I may give that a try, still have to finish one figure I'm working on. (The dead SS commander I'm tying to the back deck as their prize!)
