I'm looking for a 1/35 scale 8 ton halftrack. Tamiya used to make one, but not anymore. Any suggestions on where else to get a kit?

At the moment the Tamiya kit is the only game in town ...I'm sure you will be able to find one around some where ...But be ready for alot of work ..this kit is showing it's age ...Maybe Mr.Tamiya might redo this kit up to todays standards?? PLEASE!!!!!

I had one of those kits a long time ago. I got it from the bargain table at the local hobby shop. I think it was missing peices, and I used it to add to my spare parts. I wish I had known it was discontintued.

It doesn't neccessarily have to be the Tamiya kit, just wondering if one's made by anyone else. I've been searching, and the search continues. The Flak 88 I have needs something to tow it with

well why not use the AFV club sdfz 11 in later years of the war these were used to tow the 88 due to lack of bigger stuff

Man the sdkfz 11 of AFV is very very nice kit. I have it unbuild still but it has some detail and nice quality. And also somewhere round here i ve seen a good conversion for the tent of the back place. i vote for it no doubt .

I was surfing some websites and I saw that Tamiya is doing a "reissue" of the 8 ton half track, in case anyone wanted to know.

Saw that and also modler's vault. Just got to make my mind up about it. Course, I have to find my model stuff since I just moved. Fortunately, it wasn't a long move and I was able to move my actual built stuff myself.
