Hi,
I am wondering can we mix these acrylics paint together as well as use their thinner, cleaning solution and flow enhancer from one brand with all of these paints?
Sometimes you find a better color match from one of them but you may have most paint from the other manufacturer.
Thanks
Tom

Hi,
I tried once and they did not mix well. Despite being acrylic they have different formulations and thinner and cleaner may not work.
As for the flow enhancer, on the other hand, I have been told by a reliable modeller that it is kind of universal but I have not tried myself.

I think that Vallejo is quite different from the other two. It will not mix at all.
Ammo of Mig cleaner works on any paint.

I haven't tried mixing paints from Vallejo, AK and AMMO yet (and still think that it is best to mix only the same brand paints).
But I do always use Vallejo Airbrush Thinner to thin AK paints and Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver (paint retarder, basically) with AK paints - worked fine so far.

Thanks very much. If I can reuse the thinner, flow enhancer and cleaners, it isn't too bad. I think the extra investment will be just addition white and lighter color for mixing.
