Well - Door to Door is coming along fine. With all the ice NC had last week I got some extra time in on it.
No new pictures though (maybe soon). Here's where I am, my 251 is built and waiting for some paint. My building has roof rafters, exterior details, and 1st coat of paint. I added wall paper to the ground floor and in 20 minutes will start the 2nd floor's wall paper. I have all the individually scratch built cidar shingles made and waiting a satisfactory sub-root material (Michaels Here I come). My garden wall was unsatisfactory made out of sculpy clay so the baked clay became a base for a thin layer of spackle that will be made into a stone wall.

So - here's the twist in my diorama - there has always been a running debate over the quantity of rubble in a diorama.... so my plan is to build a perfectly good building and then destroy it. I'll use the real rubble from the building and see just how much rubble is the right about of rubble (don't ask Barney and Betty about Bam Bam #:-) ).

On I go - time to 'take another bridge'............

Hi Danny

Now that the Holidays are behind us I've started back to work on the RMG build. The first idea I had for a dio has changed. I was going to do one with 30 corp linking up with American airborne forces. This idea was scraped. The new idea is a copy from a photo taken on the First day of the operation. It shows a British Glider forces in an airborne jeep towing an anti-tank gun on the road to Arnhem. The jeep is about 3 quarters of the way done, the figures are about half done. I have most of what I need for the base. The rest will be ordered later this week. So with two months to go everything should be done in plenty of time.

P.S The only problem I can see is geting my camara back from my ex. But just in case that becomes a problem I'm making plans to ask a buddy of mind to take the pics.

Wolfsix.

Aloha Danny,
I've finished the building part. Painted all the details. The wall is also finished.
Still have to paint the tank and do the groundwork.
I expect the figure to be delivered this week.
Hope to finish it just in time.

Didn't see my name on the list, although I *think* I registered... at any rate, I'm almost finished, except putting the figures in place!

Definitely working on it!
Just yesterday I solved the problem of making the parachute!
Here´s a quick teaser I took last night with my Nokia 3200 phone(a nice toy but it can´t really compete with the pic quality! #:-) )

Cheers,

Ola People

I`m hard working on the groundbase. The vehicle will (hopefully) be heading to the maintenance section for a nice paintjob I have posted already three updates on the vehicle itself and it is going to be a nice one the ground work will be finished soon too

Does that count as a #1

Thanks for reporting in so quickly guys ! I hope the remaining participants can also find their way to this topic.

Jan,

offcourse we are still friends. Things don't always go as planned. Better luck next time. For some of us this Campaign proved to be "A Bridge Too Far"... so be it. There will be more Campaigns.

Actively working on it. Current status:
* Completed figure conversion this weekend
* 250 is a bit more than half done
* Just starting on base.

All in all, looking good to finish in timeframe given.

I'm still missing the reply of quite some participants. C'mon guys, please tune in and let us know how you're doing. There's nothing worse than a General looking for his troops that look to be MIA.... Please report your status one more time for those who didn't do it so far.
