Anybody know the release date for Mengs Zsu 23? I have it on order from lucky models and they are holding up the rest of my order till it comes in. They just posted a restock but still no zsu.

If you're asking about the Shilka, it's already been released and mine is on it's way from HobbyEasy.. they said it was selling well and that they're almost running out and that the next batch would come in at the end of February after the Chinese New Year.. Your best bet is to ask the people at Lucky, because not all the stores get their stock at the same time for some reason.

It's in stock right now at HobbyEasy, with a release date of last Saturday.

Here's one

another one :

"A pre-revolution Egyptian army deployment on the Suez canal in November 2010"

Not 100% sure about this one :

I guess they use the upgraded ZSU-23-4M4 version as well :

Thanks for those pics, Henri-Pierre... That first pic you posted was the only one I could find.

I will check on that, because I would love to get my hands on a MEng Shilka. I just finished the Dragon Shilka with the Friulmodel tracks and it was the hardest kit I have built to date. Holes did not line up, instructions are not clear in many cases, many parts don't fit like they should and so on. I would like to build a quality kit. From what I have seen, I will never purchase another Dragon model again. I have a Trumpeter T-80BV next up in the pipeline so I am anxious to see how that goes together.

Cheers.

I do know that in the early collections include the Dragon . It based on captured specimens acquired after the Gulf War .
A week ago, we have the Meng.
V1, M , M2, M3 can be mounted versions .
Very nice, I recommend it !!

It's really a very nice kit.. the parts fit very nicely.. only problem I had was making the suspension bars movable.. I was able to do that with the two in the front and the two in the back.. but the rest in the middle.. I just couldn't figure out how they could be movable (without cement) and remain in place.. maybe there's something I'm missing.. but generally speaking, a very nice kit to work with.. and the tracks are easy to assemble.

You really shouldn't base your opinion on one kit from a manufacturer, especially a kit that is 20+ years old. Dragon's newer kits are significantly improved from the Shilka (at least with regards to fit), just like kits from many other manufacturers' that have improved over 20 years.

I built the Dragon "V1" Shilka in a week-end, shortly after it was released, it was a fun out of the box build, no problems at all.

As always, your mileage may vary.

Cheers,

Christophe
