Hi all,
this is my next build that would end up as build review for Armorama. The kit was provided by Plusmodel and it is quite impressive. More than 200 resin parts, CD with references metal pins for complex wheels and so on.
The casting looks good, but I don't like that parts in bags are randomly placed - you have to search for part of interest....or maybe I have to put them all in 1 bag.....I haven't decided yet.
Part that would be used to assembly the wheels.
very good casting
wheels
I haven't checked the CD from the kit as I don't have a CD-rom on my laptop but I will do that for sure.
If you are intrested in history of the subject - it was created in 1918 as agricultural tractor and military version appeared during the interwar period. Later on it also got different wheels (pneumatic) and was used during WW2 by Italian, Hungarian and German forces. Plusmodel now has a kit with pneumatics as well (shown at Nuremberg).
You can check this Italian wiki article
https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pavesi_P4and some parts glued
stay tuned for more, but this won't be a quick one

and this is one of the wheels....crazy to say the least... but very cool details!

I am impressed and confused. You have to put the spokes in yourself from what it seems is metal wire?

the spikes come in assorted bags and you need to insert them into locations in sequence.

so the good thing is that they are of exact size and you don't have to cut them yourself.
also the jig for wheel makes alignment easy.

slowed down a bit, but I think this is most of the detail for the frontal cab until it will be joined with sides, floor, engine access doors, etc.

moving on with the front cabin. the frame and cabin walls joined OK, no issues so far. and the wheel disks also sit firmly.
of course there is plenty of small details to add inside the crew compartment as well as on the exterior.
adding details to the wheel. I counted 52 parts per wheel including all the rods and PE....crazy

Hello.
I own this kit too, but I have not yet decided to assemble it.This kit is impressive indeed, and the machinery is very ... exotic appearance. Plus Model has done a great job.Again.

I replaced the thread included in the kit with proper copper cable from RMG.
