Hi all,
This is going to be my first build blog on here. It is going to be the Legend IDF early Puma engineer vehicle.
This is going to be 90% OOTB, and will depict an early Puma before the changes like, domed commanders hatch, heat deflectors and different front mudguards.
I will have it as if it's just gone into the work shop, after a lengthy tour. I am going to replace the FN-mags with PE cradles and leave the FN-mags (7.62mm GPMG)off.
I made all the sub section up, and will paint them before glueing them to the main body. The side skirt hangers are removable as well, as this will help when I come to paint her. it will also stop them from been broken off.
I added the brass tube to the hangers, and cut the resin side skirts in half, plus drilled out the holes to allow them to fit to the side skirt hangers. One side will have every other one missing, and the other side will have none fitted at all.
AEF Design FN-mag cradles were used inplace of the kits FN's. These were the last few I had, They were one of the better items that AEF made.
I still need to make and add several brackets to the engine basket, as well as make up the road wheels.
Legend Productions puma.
ET Models Merkava 3D side skirt hangers.
Friel tracks.
Engine deck basket from HobbyBoss Puma.
Quick wheel Centurion wheels.
Live resin flexible 7.62mm ammo chute.
AEF Design PE machine gun cradles.
There are still a few more things to add to the OWS. The light grey one is been used on this Puma. The other one is finished and will be going on a pre-production Puma which has 3 OWS's.
Thank's for looking,
Paul.

Thanks guys,
The turning point with PE was when some one told me to sand it first. After that I never had a problem with it staying together. 😀
I use a jewellers monocle for the really small parts.

I primed her today, and applied the first coat of paint. I added some Maskol as a way of making large chips. I will add around 5/6 coats of paint, then remove the Maskol. I will use a sharp knife to remove more of the paint, and create fine chips and scratches. This is possible as the Mig IDF Sinai Grey 1983/A MIG-066, is water based.
If you look closely at some/most IDF vehicles, you'll see they have multiple layers of paint and chipped paint under one colour. This is because they never strip their AFV's of paint, but just respray in the field or workshop over the existing paint work.
This is what I want to have it like when it is finished. I'll make the white box from card.
