Well at least now we know that the world knows about us. So we might have to clean up our naughty exploits. Nice, great pic!

Hello
Glad everyone is enjoying the photo. It was good for me and the kids, I got the photo and they got some cookies. These kids are from Bedowin families that have moved on to the old Republican Guard base. Mostly very poor, no shoes, etc. We rebuild their school and brought them food, clothing and fuel. The good things that we do here, they fail to mention on the news. I have been in Iraq since March 03 and hope to leave in about 50 days. This bases had well over 500 AFV stored there, some were operational some not. It is a sight to see (I have photos). This is a great site and sharing my pictures brings me great joy. I'm a huge military equipment buff and I did models many years ago.
I will continue to share with everyone here, thanks for the support.

Hopefully, much of that US armor will be saved. Maybe the Patton Museum could get a few.
Especially the M36 B1 and B2. How many surviving M36 B1's are there?

Howdy irocarmy88,
We are all really getting a kick out of your pics! Sometime ago I brought up the idea of getting someone just like yourself, who is on the ground there in Iraq, who could provide reference photos of the OIF vehicles for us here at Armorama, even tried to form a concerted effort.....but the idea kinda fizzled. That is until you came along! Your efforts at photographing the vehicle's there is priceless reference material that we will all be able to use for years to come. And your photos of the special vehicle's in the 'scrapyard's' are an added bonus!
Please keep up the great work, and we will all be counting down the days for you...50, ...49, ...48,......take care, and stay safe!
