The new Tamiya T-55 kits seems reasonably priced. Is it not as good as the prior one?

I am not aware of the release of a new T-55 from Tamiya but There are new kits coming from TAKOM. They aren't out yet but look very interesting from info so far revealed.

They are probably just re-releasing the original tamiya t-55, which is an excellent kit btw.

Are you referring to the IDF Tiran 5 kit? It is based on Tamiya's T-55 kit and it is very nice indeed. Excellent prices on Amazon due to the great exchange rate of USD vs. Yen nowadays.

Ah. It is the same kit number. The picture here has some extra stuff hanging off the turret and that threw me off. Good to see the price get back to normal.

Tamiya 35257 is the old Tamiya kit. Not new.
New one will be Takom's.
I'm waiting for AM version so I Can build Polish "merida"T-55
