Accuracy of sd.kfz.251 placards

Hi all.

I recently got the Alliance Modelworks Sd.kfz.251 dials and placards decal sheet,and it seems that it's actually for a Sd. Kfz.250 according to my reference material?

Archer makes a set for the 251 that looks far more like the placards my reference photos show.

Does anyone know if the Alliance ones indeed are incorrect?

(Unfortunately I can't seem to post photos of them on here)
