Hi everyone,

I am currently building the Dragon Tiger 1 with zim.
Thanks to the carpet monster and a extensive search on hands and knees I am trying this route.
Not being am expert on armor I am hoping someone can identify this gun (circled in RED)and tell me if there is an aftermarket replacement or maybe someone has an extra in the stash.

Thanks Marc

It is the coax mounted MG34 Machine Gun. Aftermarket barrels are readily available in lots of places.

Isn't that the business end of an MG34? I'm sure it was modified to go into the turret of a tank and given a different number to id it. The muzzle has a flared tip I think. It barely sticks out of the turret mantlet.

To recover things from the carpet monster, try putting nylon panty hose over the end of a vacuum cleaner or Dust Buster and run it around.

Great kit choice, 6383 is a beauty. And just so you know, you see Tiger tanks without that MG fitted quite often.
