First of all thanks everybody for the nice words.
Just a bit of history: at the end of WWII the Italian Police "inherited" lots of vehicles from the former "Regio Esercito". The colour in which these vehicles were repainted was called "Amaranto" and I made it using 6 parts of Humbrol 20 and one of white. The only exception were the L6/40 light tanks that remained painted in a sand colour but the Breda 20mm gun they had (the same as the one of the Camionetta Mod. 42) was replaced by 2 Breda 8mm MGs. The colour is quite unusual and it remained in service to the early 60s when all of our Police veichles were painted in a light shade of "grigioverde mimetico". At the beginning of the 80s their vehicles were painted in light blue and white and they're still like this.
The model itself shouldn't be so unusual to someone interested in the North Africa campaign. It's only a "urban" version of the Camionetta Mod. 42 "Sahariana" with the only difference of the side canister racks replaced by stowage boxes and, of course, the colour.
This was also used in Italy for the Rome's defense in September 1943 after the armistice.
The model itself it's quite easy to put together and I didn't have big problems. I went for these few mods just because of the "reverse OOB bug disease" that bit me...

I can not critque it because I have no idea what I'm looking at.
Ken: I understand your note, but my intention is to "stimulate" the other Italian fellas on the site to take an active part in the discussions

Nice (again) to see different subjects, particularly something we will never see in plastic...Keep them coming!..
Jim: Coming up next there's the whole series of the vehicles based on L40 hull:
- L6/40 light tank
- Semovente da 47/32 (SPG)
- Semovente da 47/32 (SPG) Platoon Command version
- Squadron Command tank for Semoventi da 47/32
and of course much more...
Ciao
