Hi Michael,
Yes, I was aware it has been already mentioned as a forum post, however I still decided to make a news for those who do not check it everyday and may miss it.
If you just want to see what's new, it is much easier using the news section than scanning the many posts we have everyday!

And I was going to scratch build this model. Guess I can use my Dragon Scud for its original intent now. Thank you Trumpeter.

Just a question: what is the technical difference between this gun and, let's say, a conventional SPG?

Just a question: what is the technical difference between this gun and, let's say, a conventional SPG?
This gun ties into a similar 8x8 vehicle that mounts a short to medium range radar that makes it accurate enough to shoot down aircraft in flight as well as surface navel targets.

The third vehicle carries a generator set to run the entire three-some plus living quarters for the gun/radar crew and also mounts a BMP, like machine gun turret that gives the unit local area ground defense capability.
