Guys, I know this is a boat, but considering its 1/35 scale, covered with guns and incorporated into a Vietnam diorama I hope you agree this is where it belongs.
These are some of the images that inspired me to create this diorama.
Each boat needs 2 427 Ford engines
Engines fitted into the engine bay.
Radar opened for maintenance.
We have produced moulds of all these parts and they will be available from Black Ops Models soon.

Very nice. They look great. Any plans to do the same for the Tamiya Patrol Boat River (PBR)? I added an engine to a PBR and it came out really nice, but would like to do it easier next time. The radar dish is the same on the PBR too, so that could be used for either.

I agree regarding your statement about this model being a "boat". To put it into perspective, how many "soft-skins" and figures have been featured on this site? I welcome these kinds of posts, and would even like to see 1/35 Helicopters featured here on ARMORAMA...
Where did you get 1/35 Ford 427 Engines- or were they included in your kit?

These look awesome. I can't wait to see this set on the market.
I think Dennis is asking where did you get the base engines to make your set? I believe you started w/M113 engines from either the Tamiya or Academy M113s. Am I right?

All parts have been given a good coat of 1200 Surfacer. Next will be preshading.
That's a lot of guns. 2 .50 Cals, 6 M60s and a 40mm grenade launcher.

Looks great. I really like the engine compartments. Is the set available now? If so, what all comes in it (weapons, engines, and radar internals, etc...)?

Whoa!!!
This is PURE AWESOME!!!! Hope to get this set in the future once I purchase another LSSC...
And I'd like to see an engine set for the Tamiya PBR as well...and of course, suitable crew figures for Brown Water Navy craft.
Keep up the great work!
With Regards and Aloha,
Johnny B.
