Darren Baker shares with us a quick in-box review of the PanzerKampfWagon II Ausf L ‘LUCHS’ (Sd Kfz 123) from the new company Classy Hobby in 1/16th scale. A build of this is well advanced and should be with us all soon.

Looks like the pre-order will run about $90. This makes which new kit to buy one tough decision.

This maybe the kit that lures me into the 1/16th area.... Nice review, thanks!

I agree completely. It would be a awesome 1/16 tank to build.

I saw dragonusaonline had it for 134.99USD. If anyone finds it for ~$90 without killer shipping, please spread the word.
Thanks

I've never ordered a kit from overseas. I see shipping is in the $20 range at lucky, unless you want to get crazy. How's the service and all.

Talking of killer shipping (and just price generally) this is the only offer on UK eBay right now:

That's $154 + $64pp.
I'm sure things will settle down once it is available though... this is surely just to capture the over-excitable.

Pre-order price from Hobby Easy is at US$90. If I get it through the importer the runs up to US$119. Will see how it goes once generally available.

I build 1/16 armor kits at at $99 it DOES look very good. It's going to be about 5 inches shorter than a 1/16 Panther tank so a good idea of it's size.
