That is truly inspiring. It's not a model as much as it is a work of art. Thanks very much for sharing.

Nice! I like that it isn't really a "wartime" dio. Its nice to take a break from the wars sometimes!

Once again a GREAT job
Upon Being asked why he was being pushed back by a "Comonwealth" division at El Alamein, Rommel replied,
"it is not a Commonwealth division, it is an Australian Division, why, give me 2 Australian Divisions and i will conquer the world for you!"

Dear Bob,
This is the kind of work that inspires me and intimidates me and challenges me. Just what the doctor ordered. How long did it take you to do?

Sealhead
(Kansas Sunflower)
I started last August and finished last month. I worked on it about twenty to thirty hours a week. I am guessing it is about five hundred hours of work all together. I did other things during that period to prevent me from rushing this. I had made up my mind from the very beginning that it would take a while and that I would be as patient as possible. Usually I want instant gratification so I really had to discipline myself not to rush it. My attititude about modeling in general has changed as a result and I have acquired a lot of patience.

Howdy Bob,
I think Sealhead hit the nail on the head, it inspires, intimidates, and challenge's other modelers to aspire to creating great work's such as that!
It's a joy to the eye. :-)

Then that makes the effort even more worthwhile. I sincerely appreciate all of the adulatory comments. There is no higher praise than that received by fellow modelers because you all know first hand what it takes.
