Thanks Jerry for the compliments. I do enjoy this small scale occasionally. It makes it possible to create such big scenes without giving up too much real estate in the house.

Excellent job Robert/Faust

Another winner!! One detail I think is especially well done is how you did the skid/slide marks in the sand and then placed the 109 just a bit off-angle to the marks. Nice touch!!

Thanks a lot everybody for the compliments and kind words
@Jack
I wanted to do something different then what i normally saw in other crashed aircraft dioramas. Where usually the aircraft sits on the ground in a trail as straight as a ruler. It somehow always felt a bit odd that an aircraft would do that as the main weight is in the nose due to the engine and it would do 90 percent of the sliding on its air intake which has the smallest surface to slide on. Making it more a pivot point under the aircraft. Not much would be needed for it to change direction while on the move.

Excellent. Love the way the Tank is so small, like a bug crawling towards a dead bird. Though the plane is stationery it gives the whole thing a feeling of movement that the Tank hasn't quite got there yet.

Thanks everybody for the replies and compliments.
@Matthew
Yeah i liked the contrast between the aircraft and the small size of the vickers. It somehow seems off. But the small tank is the Victor of the story. Also so glad that i decided to airbrush the caunter camo on the little bugger.
