Has there been there been any news on this since the initial news release?
Anybody care to speculate if and when MENG will do a Tiger 1?

Meng typically doesn't announce new kits early, so I have found the kits usually come out within 6 months of their announcement. I believe they originally announced it in November, so maybe by May? Pure speculation- just going on previous experience. Oh, and I just realized that the Meng M1A2 Tusk I/II kit was announced about the same time. Hobbyeasy shows it as being due out 2/29 barring any shipping delays. That's encouraging.
As much as everyone complains about there being so many Tiger I kits out there, I'd love it if Meng did one. That said, if you would have asked this before the King Tiger announcement, I would have said probably not. However, the KT kit has given me some hope, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

It would surprise me, MENG doing very well at their kits, if they didn't do the
Tiger 1.

it must able to top the dragon 1/34th king tiger,in order justified spending $70~90 for the kit.
