I have done this dio with the Tamiya Tilly and used the Legend detail set for the bag on the radiator.

Very cool! This was always one of my favorite pictures of the Queen. The vehicle kit looks super well done as does the fig itself. Both could easily be used in other scenarios.

The SKP Tilly is not that nice. It is certainly not a patch on the Tamiya Tilly - which includes the same decals representing the Tilly that Princess Elizabeth posed with. Granted, the Tamiya kit could do with some etch to super-detail it, but I would buy the figure separately and use the Japanese kit.

No. Austin Tillys never had wooden tailgates. Some private restorations incorrectly have them.

What is the point? No one buys this kit which is why they are re-promoting it with a figure. The tamiya kit is SO much better and easier to build.
