Does anyone have any recommendations for sources of tiny display cases for this size? Since it's a bike dio, it doesn't need to be tall. I'm looking for something that resembles a clear cube. Wave produces a tiny square wood base, but I want to have a clear top over it.

You could try a baseball display case like this:

There's quite a few choices of black base with clear case - for example, this one is small

and this one is cubeish

Am using the tall version of this one for a 1/35 motorcycle diorama

Miwa,

This company will custom make acrylic cases. I've used them many times.

Trumpeter makes these (among many other sizes) for 1/72 models. They would probably also fit a 1/35 MC. http://www.trumpeter-china.com/index.php?g=home&m=product&a=show&id=2531&l=en
The only drawback to these kind of injection molded styrene cases is that they always have some kind of molding nipple on the case top.
