Ola Joe
Ultracast has quite a nice bunch of Brit Commonwealth and Canadian Tankers. I heard the quality of these figs is very high.
A brit Tank Crewman
Canadian/Brit Tank Commander
Canadian/Brit Tank crewman
Canadian Commonwealth Tank crew 1944/45
Commonwealth tanker WW2
Canadian British Crewman WW2
I can go on with this fr a while as they have quite a range of figs Check them out at Hometown hobbies for more.

hi rob,
i have all of those figures,
sorry maybe my question was too vague,
what im looking for is infantry or other soldiers riding on the outside of the tank, in a manner similar to what the russians etc did,
something along these lines
but i just want infantry or other soldiers, seated on a tank as if they are getting a lift to a different destination
cheers

Joe, try the Resicast range, they have several infantry figures riding/climbing onto tanks.

Thanks for posting that link Geoff. I'd seen the Cromwell figures but I'd never heard of Resicast. They've got some great stuff there. Nice to see some British/Commonwealth figures being produced.

thanks for the link, but ive already seen those figures, they arent really what im looking for,
rodger,
resicast figures are very good, well detailed etc, but they are very small, they produce some nice head sets, that i use to replace tamiya plastic ones, they are ok if you use them on their own or with newer tamiya figures, but will be too small with anything else
cheers

Hi Joe, I've not been able to find what you're looking for, I could do with some myself - getting fed up with converting them when there are so many German sets around!

Joe, I think this is the pic you refer to:
Although, looking through Cromwell's site, I did not see the figs that are pictured on the back of the tank.

I have spent the last year searching for infantry riders with no luck. I found tank crews, infantry standing around and infantry climbing onto tanks but no riders. I ended up using several Ultracast and Resicast sitting soldiers, dressed them up with packs and weapons and voila, Brit tank riders.
