Hello
I have a Trumpeter's M1133 Stryker and I want to make it with Slat Armour. Can somebody tell me do I have to instal a add-on armour too ? Maybe someone have pictures of M1133 with slat from WWP Book "Stryker in details part 2" ?
Thank You for help

I would assume yes on the add-on armor plates since all other versions that use slat armor also have the added plates as well. That said, I have never seen an M1133 with slat armor except in artist drawings.

I have never seen any images of a M1133 with slat armor...either.
When they are used in theater, the side saddles are packed full of boxed gear and supplies, needed to administer medical aid. If a M1133 had slat; it could not take as much medical supplies.

The MEV did have slat in Iraq. I will see if I can post a pic or two later. It is difficult to tell if blast plates were used. I am not sure. The mortar variant had similar side racks to deal with as well for slat.
