That looks fan-freakin-tastic!!
One question though-It looks like the only area where the preshading is evident is on the added armor. Do you think that you could have achieved the same results with just an overall flat black base coat?

There is evidence of very fine painting all over this dio. Vehicle,railroad,equipment and of course,the figs are all excellent.

Hi Joe,
thanks for your comment.. I think that the contrast is more visible when you use preshading (dark and light). If i would have painted all in black, i should have played more with the contrast of the main colour and i should made the surface much lighter at several places in the middle of added armor.
