hi,
are the tamiya 1/35 R/C armour kits any good?
are they just the military miniatures kits with motors?

I have the M1 with the full r/c kit. It goes together very well. The tracks are single piece rubber, so you don't have to connect them. I even added an Eduard PE to mine. The r/c controller even gives you some sound effects for the main gun and engine, if I remember correctly. I'll be getting mine back from the movers next week, I'll put some new batteries in it and give it a test drive.

I got a tiger 1 laying around somewhere waiting to get build when Im like 60 or someth

I've got the M1A1 full R/C kit. It is the same kit as their regular M1A1 kit. Using their old M1 or new M1A2 kits, you could make any one of the three Abrams variants.
