Hi,
here are some photos of my latest build. Itīs Tamiyaīs M1025 with conversion to cargo bed from Calibre35 and the obligatory DEF resin wheels.

The kit should depict a vehicle of 2nd Recon Bn., USMC during OIF 2003...

Thank you for watching. Your comments are very welcome

That is done extremely well! I really like the tape over the lights and reflectors, nicely recreated affect.

Looks cool! The washes and drybrushing add contrast and make the stowage really pop out.

Jiri, I must say this is just about perfect. I can't see any way for you to improve it. Your gear is so well done as to actually look like it belongs in the truck. The random, yet organized look is so hard to attain! This is one of the best finished and weathered HMMWVs out there, especially in NATO three tone. The simple display sets it off and makes it the center of attention. This is why I joined Armorama.

Regards,

Eric

A lot of details and updates, you certainly have spent a lot of time on it for this perfect result. I like the machine gun mount with the displaced pedestal.

I guess it's one more proof of Jiri's scratchbuilding skills

Actually, it was a weekend project

Thanks a lot to all of you for the positive comments. I am glad it worth the effort and you definately give me boost to start next project.

In regards to the equipment itīs kind of mix of everything. Ammo boxes from AFV, backpacks from Legend and Blackdog, some ProArtModels stuff (miss you! ) and the rest I donīt even know. Just found it in my stash.

French is right about the gun mount. I scratchbuilt it. I think this type of pedestal was/is quite rare and there were not many photos available either. So itīs sort of my depiction of how could it have looked like... most probably not 100% correct.

Thanks again. I really appreciate it

Jiri

Jiri, this is one I am going to come back to over and over as I work on mine. I have the same Calibre 35 set to do my M998/M1038. Keep up the great work.

Regards,

Eric
