Hey all,
Does anyone out there have a source for Pit-Road WWII Japanese AA gun kits? I am looking for them for planning purposes for the Air Defense Artillery Museum.
I'm looking for the following:
IJA Type 88 75mm AA gun
IJA Type 92 HMG w/crew
IJN Type 96 Dual AA gun with crew
IJA Type 98 20mm AA gun
Thanks in advance!
Jon

I've collected IJA/IJN kits for a long time, and as far as I am aware all the Pit-Road resin/white metal kits have been long out-of-production. They do crop up on Ebay once in awhile, so that's your best bet. The only kit I've actually seen them re-release recently is the IJN Machine Gunners set.
The exception on your list is the Type 92 HMG. This was released as a plastic kit a few years ago, and was just recently re-released. HLJ currently has stock.

Shapeways has a single mount Type 98 available, I know you're looking for PitRoad but it's definitely readily available.

Thanks guys! Doesn't have to be Pit Road, just has to be a 35th scale replica of the 1:1 scale guns I've got in the museum!

It's the Type 96 25mm single mount. Towards the later pages. Unfortunately I'd have to order a pair of them and then build the twin mount.

Can you provide the designer or link? Shapeways' search engine continues to be atrocious and it's impossible to find anything without looking through a 1000 pages!

Link to the product:

I find it best to just Google search what I'm trying to find on Shapeways instead of search through all that. I think their intent is to get more products more attention but it's just annoying.

My buddy says he's had luck getting some Pit Road stuff by trawling Amazon regularly.
