I would like to use the Trumpeter IS-3M kit and convert it into a IS-3 ARV.
I've found two photo's, both show this ARV during operation 'Danube' in 1968.
Could anyone help me with the markings in the colour photo, a bit blurry but it comes from a screen grab?
Grz,
Sam.

that is a unit insignia looks like a fraction 65 over 24 inside a diamond...but not sure of exact numbers.
Like this one on the turret, same operation in 68, look at that big coax mg. You could just paint them on however I have seen decals of them.

David,
Thank you, it was so obvious that the markings would be the same or similar as on the T-10M that it didn't occur to me to look for these....
I believe the term in englsh is 'brainfarth' or something similair.
Grz,
Sam.

Not really, but guessing from the photo's I do have (besides those above I have a few in a russian book) it looks that the layout would very similair as that of the T-34T.....so I'm basing it on that.
waiting to be corrected & grz,
Sam.

Maybe you are tright, ARMO did a conversion for the IS-2T some years ago, I found pics of an ebay sire that sells the complete build model, but pictures I think are very valuable
