What is the proper name for the " close combat weapon " - roof mounted grenade launcher in Wehrmacht TDs like in the Jagdpanther and Jagdtiger .
What size round did it fire ?

The German name is "Nahverteidigungswaffe". It was closed by inserting a plug into it from the breech. It fired 92mm projectiles.
