Hi! Again one question from me. Is there any manufacturer that make 1/72 scale US landing crafts that were in use at normandy? Becouse I`d like to make a (big) dio about
D-day before 6.6.2004 (you know why). :-) oh yes and those bunkers up hill.Any pictures?

Squadron has some that are 1/72 scale .They are by Armageddon they have L.C.V.P and L.C.A.both $26.96 and numbers are mca2001 and mca2003.I purchased. F.M. Landing Craft and it lots of flash and many repairs were needed so try these and hope they are better.

I think there was a really old Airfix kit that came with a Sherman!

I've got that old Airfix one, not a bad kit, but the old Sherman tank was their same old one. I think it was called the LCM, but I do not know if it was the type used in D-Day.

There was a really good shop near where I live called Military In MIniatures. It only sold 1/72 things. It sold mostly wargaming stuff, some modeling things too, and had alot of wwII things including these landing craft if i remember correctly. But all of the sudden it went out of buissenes, taking away the shop and many of my father's ship models he had lent to the shop for them to display I wish it were still there.
