I just wanted to publicly thank Mol Plastic Modelbouw and J.W. for their continued support of our site. They renewed their advertising for another 3 months!
They have also offered to co-contribute the prize for the UOM award. This will mean users in Europe will have an easier time taking advantage of a prize award. You don't get both though! You have to choose.
Cheers,
Jim

Ken,
For our advertisers sakes I don't want to do that. Simply because a lot of people have pop-up blockers now and some of them probably don't even realize that this is why they click on some links nothing happens because the new window is being blocked.
Cheers,
Jim

Ahh haa! I knew there was something to it!
I'm just addicted to new windows for everything I view. I even wished that member's "my gallery" buttons opened new windows.
Darn pop-up blockers!

I know AOL 9.0 lets you to designate site to allow pop ups (like this one). If I click on a site that I have not allowed pop ups, I get a plonk noise (same sound when it blocks a pop up). If that happens, I just re-click on the link and it'll open right up.
Pop ups are annoying though. I can't believe Fine Scale Modeler has that stupid pop up on their home page advertising their susbscription. Heck I have a subscription too.
