Just wondering if this could actually be a clue, or just some random drawing

Well if its a Rorschach inkblot test, I'm gonna say it's a dog

. Seriously though it looks like a PE fret.

Maybe something that would be sandwiched by plastic, like a gun barrel or a missile? Not sure how large/small it is, so unless you 'get' the shape it is tough. For a gun barrel, the shape suggests maybe lagging or some attachment like a fume extractor. For a missile, maybe how it is attached to a launch ramp or vehicle?

Being so close to April Fool's Day makes it seem suspicious. But I'll bite. If you have to make sense of the gap between the inner part and the outer part, and follow on the idea that it's for the cupola, then that gap could mean the inner part goes inside the MG ring on a late Tiger and the outer part goes outside. I doubt it's armor since I don't think there's value in turning the tank commander into a guy in a mini-pillbox firing infantry weapons. So I'd guess that some kind of weapon gets mounted on the outer part which lays flat to shield the cupola parts from perhaps rocket exhaust flames.

I'd contend that it's something dealing with a turret ring. The two notches on the sides of the inner ring resemble the base on a tank hull. Plus, it's pretty much symmetrical up until the two angled notches on the outer part. But judging from the product number it looks like this will be in their 1/35 line.

I think the things on the outside are houses?

You're more than probably right, Kurt. The rectangular cutouts on the circular part look as if they're supposed to fit over tabs.

Nothing to do with April Fool's Day
They just posted this on their FB page and said "The new kits are coming soon in April"... I figured it was a sprue or PE fret, but couldn't tell if it was a clue to a particular kit, or just a general drawing... Also, non of their previous kits had any letters in their numbers like the "-s" in this one.. Their choice of vehicles has been interesting so far, so it'll be interesting to see what this one turns out to be

I'm inclined to agree with Kurt and Michael on this one. The image DOES look like it could possibly be a PE "sub-assembly" of some kind of a small Turret...
Could the "S"-suffix stand for "Steel", as I've seen in some instruction sheets and on PE frets..?

They just answered a question about the "s" saying "It is an accesory of sprue S in 4611"... They also said they will be announcing 4 new kits in April... I hope the VAB will be one of them

OK then. The illustration is a silhouette of the armored collar around the turret ring, viewed from above.
