For those interested, I see at Cybermodeler that the Trumpeter MaxxPro in 1/16 is out this July. Worryingly, the part count is simply listed at a modest "over 240". Yes, this could mean the part count is a lot higher, the 1/35 Kinetic version has 304 parts in grey coloured plastic; 22 photo-etched parts; 25 parts in clear; eight black vinyl parts; markings for two vehicles (taken from a review on Missing-lynx.com). Given that the Trumpeter M-ATV has been described as more toy-like than model like, I am disappointed in this missed opportunity for a great vehicle in a great scale.

Still, think of the money saved...
