Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has bought from RB Models. Also, do the 1/48th scale metal barrels offered by RB Models fit Tamiya 1/48th scale kits. Thank you.

I have purchased 35th items direct from them and everything went smoothly. I don't build 48th scale, but I would think since most of the 48th kits out there are by Tamiya, the barrels should fit.

I bought tons of stuff from them, flawless fits in any scale, except 1/72 because I don't model that scale ;-)

I just installed the RB barrel for the 1/35 Tamiya Churchill. It fit well after drilling out the kit locating lug and looks terrific, a huge improvement over the kit barrel. I have built other Tamiya kits where the kit barrel looked fine and I saw no need for an AM item.
The bottom line based on one sample - the fit of the barrel parts was excellent and it fits the kit easily.

After reading this thread, I thought I'd test the waters and ordered some AM directly from RB Model. I received my package in nine days! Not too shabby! 📪
Thanks for the tip, guys!
