I found a prior jig I had build for assembling tanks for a German tank, also came in handy for building a set of Friul's for my Scimitar build.
I used my Northwest cutter with a limiter to cut the wire bits to length, then was able to stand the individual links in the jig and just inserted the wires.
So, I would suggest to look around at what you have to help you with a task, and recycle older bits.

Good suggestion. I'm sure that many folks have their way of doing things well established, but seeing things in a new perspective is a great way for people to improve their work. Thanks for taking the time to share your technique..
