Has anyone notice the new look on the site? Pretty amazing and it makes the site faster than usual. Thanks staff_jim! But ofcourse, I still miss that last posted by "xxx" thing.

It certainly looks very neat and professional. Congrarulations Jim.
One thing though, and I don't know if it is related but most of the forums for the last couple of days show the "tick box" indicating new posts added since my last visit, and pink folders, even where there aren't new posts. Could just be my crappy computer playing up?

Me also but in my case, I have those tick boxes still there after a few hours in my pc.

To surprise us again with the wonderful site he has made!

LOL....thanks guys. What you are seeing is the fruition of what I started doing about 4 weeks ago now with the language selector. It just took me a while to get all the pieces together. It's not completely done yet either. But it should be VERY much faster than the old header as that had about 30 images to load and this header has.... 5.
Cheers,
Jim

To use the words from General Horrocks on the eve of Operation Market Garden "Speed Gentlemen....is the key factor".... Unlike Horrocks with his XXX Corps, you DID manage to get the speed back in...... Thanks...awesome improvement.

I noticed last night a little change, and this morning - Wham! Looks very nice. Real clean, faster load times, and easier on the eyes.
Great improvment Jim!
Just another reason why I can't get away from here and over to my other desk!

I think the site looks even better than before, which looked great to begin with! I looks very crisp and clean, very friendly to eyes that will be staring at it for hours and hours

At first, I though I had the dial up settings but then I figured out it was in the default one. Pretty nice for me since I always check it here in our public library. It is much faster than before. Thanks!
