Well - from your practical experience , can you see an advantage in removing the butt-stock ?
Can anyone link me a pick with just ONE MORE gun with it removed ?
( in service ,, not being field-stripped )

The buttstocks of the MGs we used on the Dingos were removed. But i really cant say why... never asked.

Sure its not but you just asked for a picture without that buttstock
Btw.. you can find many pictures of MG42s and MG34s with buttstocks removed when they were used on the "Zwillingslafette"
And i found this picture of an MG34 with buttstock removed and mounted on the standard infantry tripod.. so it should count as "shouldered" weapon, shouldn't it? (don't know if its a real ww2 pic though..)

Given that the FLW100 is a remote controlled system the cables should be pretty straight forward. One for power, one for video and one for the controller.
