Hello, as my main interest is Vietnam related, as far as I can tel there is not an M-46 130mm gun out so I was wondering? If you took the Trumpeter Type 59, which I have read is actually a Type 59-1, and used the carriage from the Trumpeter ML-20/with M-46 carriage would this make a true M-46/Type 59? I know, as soon as I do this they will release it,but just wondered if this would work for an NVA version? Thanks for listening, Wayne

No. This is an M-46:
This is what Trumpeter gives you:
I think it is only the lower carriage (trails, wheels, and pedestal) that is common.

Yes, that is what I was wondering if using this trails and carriage with the type 59 gun assembly would be close to an M-46. Wayne

Here's what an M-46 looks like:
And here's a Type 59-1 (as kitted by Trumpeter):
Does that meet your definition of close?
