This is not a commercial endeavor, but I wanted others to benefit from the efforts here so I have made a deal with Chris Benshoof to put the items he designed for my Russian dacha up for others to use. They are not inexpensive, but these are the only 1/35 scale items like this available at the moment - believe me I looked at all the dollhouse web sites and aftermarket sellers and model railroad offerings.

The real deal:

There is more to come too, so check the shapeways shop in a few days.

Wow - that's some intense detailing. The 3D effect on the surface is amazing.
Nice job.

Are those pieces very fragile, they look it ?

Stunning!

I dare say he has a market, esp. if he makes these multiple scales.

We have talked about doing it on 1/48 as well. I like both scales a lot!

Been following this one a while - this looks great. Id also look into other areas of the modelling world, not just military for potential buyers. It's almost too pretty for our bunch, we'd just put bullet holes and bomb damage through it. Maybe let the architectural modellers have a look as well.
