This post makes no sense. Flax is a type of seed, and even if you were trying to say flak, Flak 46 was an anti-aircraft battalion - not a gun.
So, what is it you were really trying to say? Do you have a kit number to help guide us?

Considering that Cyber Hobby kit sells for $100 and up on Ebay, this one, while being overpriced, still isn't a bad deal.

These Dragon price rants are getting pretty old, either buy or not buy but seriously, complaining anit going to make them any cheaper!
At least the box art gave me a laff ...
"Engineered for Modelling Enjoyment"
"Plastic Parts with Enhanced Detail"
"Unprecedented Value"
and the best one is last;
"Ready for Immediate Assembly" -
fortunately just how I like my kits!

I'll wait and build one from multiple kits due to them not getting the version right. None of the actual pictures looks like this version.

Plus it's not actually an Ausf H chassis anyway
Do love the opening engine comapartment hatches noted as a feature when theres nowt inside to see... why make a point of drawing attention to it?

Not sure about this, actually if NOBODY complained they might think they can hike up their prices a little more.
Those days I won't buy Dragon unless it's 40 to 50% off, I used to happily pay full price just a few years ago.
Cheers,
Christophe

Complaining is not going to lower the price. If you think it is too high, then don't buy it. Dragon has to recoup the millions they are losing on their Disney license agreement.

YUP! What Anthony just said, IN DROVES!!! I will still buy DRAGON kits, but only THE OLDER ONES THAT haven't gone through DRAGON's "minimization processes", and CERTAINLY NOT AT RETAIL PRICING!!!... All they did with this FLAK-panzer deal is combine two old kits and add a minimal amount of new parts. PLUS they gave us the added "attractions" of said "minimization features"!
NO THANK YOU, DRAGON!

You think THAT'S BAD? I just saw a new announcement from DRAGON showing a 1/72 Pz.IV with Schurzen retailing for $47.95!!! The sad part is that they're SERIOUS! I don't model in 1/72 at all, but I just thought I'd mention this thing...

That's because it's one of the collectables - pre-built and pre-painted, but still... That's twice the price those models were selling a few years ago.

If anybody is interested, for some reason Dragon has discounted this kit down to $40.00.I don't know for how long, but that is a decent price, even for the depleted version.

Orders must have been very low. Hobby Easy has it on sale -- from $64 now down to $49.

Patience grasshoppers , peruse the Dragon USA site regularly and any overpriced Dragon , Bronco , etc. kit eventually has a 36 , 39 dollar price tag .
I got the Italeri Vosper , kit value 165 dollars or so for 79 bucks , just gotta wait and look , then act .
This past weekend the Riich [ I think it's them ] models Zwilling mg and trailer and that supply wagon , both 59 dollar kits were on sale for 36 each .
Just gotta wait till nobody pays the insane price and they'll drop it to move it , and they're still making a few bucks .

Indeed. Energy well spent (probably none at all) than ranting about high prices.
