Looking good so far Dmitriy. I used the same set of decals on my M-51. I'm sure you will like them as well.

Excuse my newness, what is the grey product that you applied? I assume it is used to give the model texture, or at least it appears to do as such.

Looks like Mr. Surfacer to me.
Dmitriy, yours is looking good. I am also currently building a M51 (Academy kit) so I'll be following your thread.

Am I wrong, or the Friul tracks are molded with the side links in one piece with each main one?

Dmitry, fantastic work so far. One thing that popped out to me...the travel lock mount is wrong for a '67 degem beth or gimmel. The Tamiya kit part is correct. I have only seen that mount with the cummins engine where the exhaust exits on top of the rear deck like the dragon kit. Someone please prove me wrong.

Thanks for your opinions, guys)
Yes, the travel lock mount more better for modification of 1973. But photos Six day War show different variants. For example:
Two tanks in same place and time, but travel lock mounts are different.
And also in Kubinka museum we can see early engine cover and late mount:
However, I agree that the early mount is better for this model, but this detail from Tamiya should be done scretchbuild.
And I continue so far:

Excellent work Dmitriy.
Good catch on photos. That is an interesting tank... a Beth with late travel lock and early muzzle brake without the stiffeners.
Jeff
I just about have my Beth ready for paint.

Great stuff, Dmitry ! Those old workhorses were so effective, the IDF kept them till the early '80's...
