Well, it took a while but at last I restarted my rifle project.
I wanted to make a small scene in a different setting and using a rifle stock seemed a nice idea.
The scene depicts a German connection trench that hes been overtaken by allied troops and they are carefully proceeding thru the narrow trench.
The rifle stock comes from a air gun and has been hollowed out.
Unfortunately because I hollowed the stock it became very brittle and one side completely broke off and on the other side came a crack.
By using liquid wood and a lot of sanding I was able to repair the damage.
for the trench walls I used 1mm balsa wood sanded down to ± 0.5 mm and scribed in wood panels with a pen.
next Will be the porion groundwork and wooden floor and on the sides a row of sandbags on each side.
I am still figuring out whether or not to put some barb-wire on one side of the trench.
(sorry can't seem to get this pic up but it is in my gallery : rifle project)
Let me know what you think

That is an incredible neat idea. I can't believe that something like that would look so good. But its turning out great. The barbed wire might look pretty cool, but then wouldn't it be to big for the edge of the stock. I would do it though! Great idea!

Looks interesting, it deserves an award for creativity. What rifle did that stock come from?
