Hello all looking to get a set of Friul tracks for a Sherman - thinking Type 51 (Friul ATL-47). My question is this - is each track link a single piece or is it comprised of 2 parts that are CA'd together before pinning? Thanks Paul

Each link is a single piece. You will need a small drill to clear out the flash in the holes (sometimes) but once they are clear just insert the wire cut it flush with some nippers and put a drop of ca glue to hold it in place.

I can usually bang out a run of links in 20 minutes.

They are single piece. However, Fruil tracks aren't the best option for Shermans to be honest. They give you 'modidied' links to go round the idler and drive sprockets but IMHO, you are much better off using indi links from either MK or Bronco. Granted, they are more work, but you do get a better result (plus they are cheaper!).





Both of these use the Bronco track sets.

Personally I prefer Fruil tracks but that is something you will have to decide for your self.

I used Fruils on my M-51

They certainly are good for dead tracks like the T-66s. Usually though live tracks seen on Shermans.
