Does anyone have any acrylic suggestions for Vietnam era uniforms US and Australian? I saw SAC Bomber Green, but that seems to be in enamel only. Thanks

On Vallejo's Facebook page, they have an album that contains uniform illustrations along with color suggestions. Here is what they have for US Soldiers in Vietnam:
Uniform 70895
Helmet 70887
Suspenders and backpack 70924
Boot sole 70950
Boot Body 70924
Gun Metal part 70863
Gun Plastic part 70950

If you have a Facebook account, search for Acrylicos Vallejo and look for the album with the uniform illustrations. They have 87 uniforms represented from Romans through Gulf War.

Just keep in mind that many things faded quickly in Nam, new jungle fatigues didn't look that way for long. In the south in the summer the cotton fabric could rot in weeks or maybe months and stains from the red clay were almost impossible to remove.

Thanks. I'll definitely be fading. The red clay stains are a great suggestion.
