It seems to be Takom's usual MO to issue all variants of their new kits at once, so I'm a bit disappointed that they haven't done a stock T-55 thus far.

Anyone have any intel on whether they will be doing one??

There are so many variants of the T-54/55 that their releasing them all at once would be a kit list several pages long. I say give them time. So many to choose from it just boggled the mind, they had to have started somewhere...

And with the Tamiya T-55 and its variants still selling so well it wouldn't be a wise marketing move to start with repeats of their still excellent kits.

Things are on a timeline. They are going to release things somewhat slowly too...maybe they are doing a bit of retooling of problems, maybe they want to be a little gentle on peoples wallets.

Be nice if all companies had this consideration

People complain when they don't issue the kits they want, then people complain when they *do* issue them all at once...

I'm just happy to be living in the era of "snap your fingers and whatever you want will be done". Anyone who remembers the 1970s and 80s will probably feel the same.
