Hi
Looking for info on modern(ish) flatbed railroad wagons which are used to transport armour/vehicles.
Any kits out there in 1/35 ?
My plan is for a small diorama, where 1 or more of these are on a railroad track, loaded with whatever I want to put on.
Trumpeter has a nice WWII era Type SSyms platform. This is closest I can find. It's pretty expensive, but looks nicely detailed. But it's WWII. Although these wagons will not have changed a lot in 70 years I guess.
Thanx !!

French Army used the SSy platform (used for Panthers generally by Germans in WW2 for Panthers) to transport AMX-30 tanks back in the 1970s, possibly 1980s.
Dragon make one but a new brand has a nicer one apparently...

You can use both of them as now.as they are still used by the Germans looking over photos a couple of days ago as building the sabre one.
