Darren Baker takes a look at Camouflage & Markings Vol 2 from Guideline Publications. It needs to be remembered that volume 3 will be under the title ‘Armour in Theatre’.

I purchased this title and found it to be a victim of the ridiculous cost of reproducing Crown copyright images (IWM Pics). Despite the title it has any number of the German tanks illustrated as it does allied. It is a basic primer on the campaign but lacks any new images or information. If you have no information on the British/Canadian/Polish campaigns in Normandy then you may find it worthwhile. I sympathize with the Author as it is just uneconomical to produce a photographic title on British Armour as the reproduction costs are too great. Sadly Australian crown copyright holds the same principle (unless you happen to belong to the staff of the AWM)
