Perth Military Modeling Site has some of the best armor reviews on the net. Only one review this year (back in Feb), not even any updates on new kits for nearly a month...

Getting concerned. This site on the way out?

John,

I heard from a reliable source that Terry is in a medical treatment program for about 6 weeks. He's doing well but will be out of the loop for awhile.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

That's some good and bad news. I was wondering myself, since the last update was April 12th. I hope things go well for Terry.

Chaps, Terry (Beal) is the owner of 'CASTOFF MODELS' and has nothing to do with PMMS (Perth).

Terry will keep me updated on his progress and at this time has not shared any information about his future business plans or return to casting.

Right, Terry Ashley is the one who runs PMMS and I have also heard he is having some medical issues. Hopefully both will recover quickly.

If I may add my 2c worth...PMMS is one of the finest-if not THE finest- armor modelling review sites and I must say a huge "thank you" to whoever is behind the site because it really is an invaluable resource for anyone wanting to get good quality well researched information on new kits before you buy.

Just wanted to show my appreciation and wish the site owner well.

I use this link/bookmark:
http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/index.html
without any problems.
'Access denied' sounds like some kind of content filter ....

I just accessed the site with no issues, however there has been no further update since 10 May. I can strongly relate to Terry’s situation as I also have PTSD from my time in the service.

If you are accessing it from work it may have been blocked by the IT guys.

Try using a proxy, like hide.me or any other you like.

Seems that all images are lost... at least from my computer.

Hope it can be fixed, it would be a great loss

The images I've tried on there are all working. Try hitting ctrl+F5 to force a fresh load of a page to see if that restores them.

The SSL cert is fine and valid till October. But the page content is mixed SSL and non-SSL which I suspect your browser is objecting to, as many will do by default these days.

Terry`s had a tough time of it in recent years ( he was forced into early retirement during the recession ) and as most of us know once you`re past a certain age that can be a very hard knock to take, depression can creep up on the most resiliant of people ( the late actor Rod Steiger battled it for years ) Terry`s site is still up and providing modellers with an excellent catalogue of reviews and articles - and I`m sure once Terry is well enough he`ll be back at the helm

I have been following Terry's site over the years and his reviews are the best around. But there are more important things in life.
I hope he'll find the time and strength to do what is best for him.
